Our story
Why we started EasyZahl
We kept watching the same scene in restaurants we love: great food, great service - and then ten minutes of waving for the bill, one card machine for a table of six, and a fight over who pays what. Paying is the last thing a guest does; it should be the easiest.
At the same time, restaurant owners told us the software side felt rigged: monthly fees whether the restaurant was full or empty, year-long contracts, extra charges for every module. So we flipped the model - EasyZahl costs nothing per month and earns a few cents only when a guest actually pays, capped at 0,50 EUR per order.
Today EasyZahl runs the whole floor from one system: QR ordering with split payment at the table, kitchen display, reservations with deposits, GoBD-compliant invoicing, inventory and team planning - in 10 languages, GDPR-compliant, made in Germany. Onboarding takes minutes: create the menu (or photograph the printed one and let the AI type it in), print the QR codes, done.
